Tax Awareness Day at Khlong 15 Fresh Market

Year 1 , 2 and 3 students from the Department of Accountancy had organised the “Tax Awareness Day” activity on 3 February 2020 at Khlong 15 Fresh market (nearby to St Teresa International University).

Students distributed tax guides which included information on calculating taxes that businesses have to pay to the government and necessary procedures. The tax brochures were given to those interested in studying more.

Students and teachers from the Logistics, Accounting, and International Business departments started the event by walking together around STI college campus to approach and inform random passers by all important information regarding taxation.

Afterward, students commuted to the Khlong 15 market to deliver brochures and other important information to the various market booths and provided necessary consultation on taxation rules and regulations.

The local market vendors were highly appreciative of the free service provided by the students.
