Flight simulation training for Aeronautic students 2021

นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 หลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรํบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการบิน ฝึกปฏิบัติการฝึกบินจำลอง (Flight Simulation) ในการฝึกบังคับเครื่องบินระหว่างวันที่ 15-21 ตุลาคม 2564 ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากสถานการณ์โควิด – 19 ที่นักศึกษาไม่สามารถมาศึกษาที่วิทยาลัยและต้องเรียนที่บ้านผ่านระบบสื่อสารทางไกล การฝึกบินด้วยการฝึกบินจำลองจำเป็นต้องเลื่อนมาจนสถานการณ์โควิด -19 ดีขึ้น จึงสามารถจัดให้นักศึกษาฝึกได้ โดยทุกคนได้ฉีดวัคซีนครบ 2 ครั้งและต้องทำการตรวจ ATK ก่อนเข้าห้องฝึกและระหว่างฝึกได้จัดให้นักศึกษาเข้าฝึกครั้งละเพียง 2 คน โดยมีอาจารย์ Mari Prabu Govindan เป็นผู้ช่วยฝึกให้กับนักศึกษา

ในระหว่างการฝึกด้วยระบบการฝึกบินจำลอง นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ระบบการทำงานของระบบการฝึกบินจำลอง การจัดทำตารางการบิน การใช้ตารางการตรวจเช็คความพร้อม การนำเครื่องบินไปทางวิ่ง การนำเครื่องบินขึ้นสู่อากาศ การไต่ระดับ การคงระดับ และการลดระดับ จนกระทั่งการนำเครื่องบินลงจอด โดยนักศึกษาสามารถฝึกใช้อุปกรณ์ต่างๆ ในห้องนักบินจำลองเพื่อบังคับเครื่องบินได้เสมือนจริง

The flight simulation training was conducted for 4^th year Aeronautic students from 15^th of October to 21^st of October 2021. As students had to learn online since the beginning of 2021 academic year due to Covid 19 situation the flight simulation training had been postponed till the situation has been improved.

Only 2 students were allowed to attend each session with Aj. Mari Prabu Govindan as the facilitator in-order to avoid overcrowding in the simulator room.. All students had two doses of Covid- 19 vaccinations and were asked to do the ATK test before they enter the simulator training. The following are the topics covered during the training: Introduction about the simulator, Flight Plan, Checklists, Taxiing, Take-off, Climb, Steady Level Flight, Descent and Landing

The training session was very fruitful. The students were able to correlate the importance of major subjects during the practical session. The students were also given hands-on training in the flight simulator.
