Message from the Dean

As dean, I am pleased to welcome you to our Faculty of Education website.

I believe that the Faculty of Education at St Teresa International University is a very special place because we are the source of teacher education. We have the important task of molding bright students into ethical and professional teachers of tomorrow.

Our commitment to community diversity and equity motives us to pursue solutions for addressing the inequalities in today’s schools. It is often said, “children are the future”, that’s why we make it our mission to contribute to youth development, starting with local communities. Our students actively participate in charity-based community projects for the improvement of education in underprivileged schools and orphanages. One of our notable projects was the “Coins for Kids” initiative where faculty and students collaborated in providing high quality educational materials and facilities to rural underprivileged schools and orphanages.

Within the St Teresa community, we are proud of our cross-campus collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science. Our cooperation has spawned new innovative projects that have been widely recognized at international conferences and competitions. Recently, students of both faculties have partnered up to work on our award-winning “PDCA Cycle” project where they organized numerous academic activities for teaching the English language to primary school children in rural communities.

We take pride in the success of our postgraduate alumni, all of whom have become renowned lecturers, educational personnel and educational administrators, and are making very valuable contributions to the educational development of Thailand and many other places around the world.
