On June 7th, 2024, St Teresa International University had the honour of hosting Thomas Hill, International Development Manager, and Yee Pey Low, South East Asia Regional Manager, from the University of South Wales (USW), UK. This visit provided our students with invaluable opportunities to learn about the possibilities for transferring to USW for their final year, as well as exploring other avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an official congratulatory letter by Thomas Hill, on behalf of the Chancellor of USW, celebrating St Teresa’s recent promotion to university status. This milestone marks a significant achievement in our institution’s history and underscores our commitment to academic excellence and growth.

The meeting was graced by the presence of esteemed members of St Teresa’s leadership team, including Dr. Piyada Wattanasan (President, St Teresa International University) and Dr. Chaipat Wattanasan (Vice President of Academic Affairs).

Also in attendance were Amarjeet Singh (Head of International Business and Logistics Management, Faculty of Business Administration), Omega Rose P. Allanic (Lecturer, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), and Kevin Hadji-Rahim (International Admissions Executive).

The discussions held during this visit emphasised the strong bond between St Teresa International University and the University of South Wales. We deeply appreciate this partnership and are excited about the future prospects it holds for our students and faculty. Together, we look forward to a fruitful and enduring relationship that will continue to benefit both institutions and foster greater academic and cultural exchange.

St Teresa International University remains committed to providing our students with exceptional educational opportunities and strengthening our global connections, ensuring a brighter and more connected future for all.
